I'm a systems thinker by nature. My background spans operations, people and process work, independent trading, writing, and now AI-assisted product development — fields that may look different on paper but have all required essentially the same thing from me: understand a complicated system, identify what matters, and find a clearer way through it.
I didn't come to technology through a traditional engineering path. I came to it through problems.
The emergence of accessible AI gave me a way to begin turning ideas I had previously only been able to describe into products I could actually prototype, test and refine. Green Beach Group grew from that shift.
Today I'm building from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, using AI as both a development tool and a way to explore a larger question: how much complexity can technology absorb before a human ever has to carry it?
Where Green Beach came from
Green Beach Group didn't start with a plan to build a technology company.
It started with problems I kept running into in real life.
I have a habit of looking at something that is unnecessarily difficult, frustrating or time-consuming and asking, Why does it work this way? And then, almost immediately, Could technology make this easier?
Eventually I realized I wasn't just collecting ideas. I was approaching very different problems in essentially the same way — looking at the system underneath them, finding the part of the burden a person shouldn't have to carry, and thinking about how technology could carry more of it instead.
That's what became Green Beach Group.
The products may look unrelated from the outside. Family law. Difficult communication. Documentation. Camping. But they started in much the same place: a real experience, a problem worth understanding, and the belief that there should be a better way to handle it.
Green Beach is where I build those better ways.
I usually have a lot of tabs open — literally and figuratively. Green Beach looks a little like that because that's how the company actually works. One question leads to research, research turns into an idea, and sometimes that idea becomes another product worth building.
The common thread isn't the industry. It's the question underneath all of them:

Systems work. People still carry them.
The software loads. The form submits. The process reaches its end. And the person on the other side is still the one holding everything together — the deadlines, the documents, the same situation explained again to the next system that doesn't know them.
Complexity rarely disappears. It moves, and far too often it moves onto the person who is already dealing with the hardest part of the problem.
